The Community Improvement Plan (CIP) looks to revitalize areas across Middlesex Centre by providing funds to local businesses. Grants of up to $7,500 are available for façade, signage, accessibility, energy efficiency, and other improvements.

Free Public Skating at Middlesex Centre Arenas

We hope you and your family will join us on the ice at the Komoka Wellness Centre and the Ilderton Arena for free public skating!


Free skating takes place weekly and on special days, including Family Day!

Timberwalk Lions Park Playground

We're getting ready for Spring!


The new equipment for the Timberwalk Lions Playground in Ilderton has been ordered, with installation planned for late May.  


The new playground features accessible and inclusive elements designed to offer a diverse range of physical, sensory and social activities for all ages. This includes climbers, slides, spin cups, swings and a large cow climber.  


A big thanks to the Ilderton & District Lions Club for their generous donation to this project.

Dog Tags in Middlesex Centre

All dogs living in Middlesex Centre must have a valid dog tag. Tags are issued for the lifetime of your dog at no charge to you.


  • Are you new to Middlesex Centre or do you have a new puppy? Apply for your dog tag online.
  • Have you moved or has your pet passed away? Please call or email the office so we may update our records.


Reminder: Dogs are not allowed to run-at-large anywhere in Middlesex Centre aside from designated off-leash areas. Please pick-up after your pet and properly dispose of any waste.

Billing Issue - December 2024 Water Bill

Owing to an IT issue, water meters were read later than usual last month. Unfortunately this means some water users received a higher-than-average water bill for Dec. 2024 - primarily those that use less than the minimum amount of water (8 cubic metres) each month.


To address this concern, with your next water meter reading we will review your average water use and will credit your Jan. bill for any overages (if applicable).

Water Testing Volunteers Needed

We're looking for residents to volunteer their homes to test for lead in the municipality's drinking water system. Tests take 5 minutes plus a little preparation time and use less than 5 litres of water. Returning volunteers are welcomed!

Stormwater Management Ponds: Stay off the Ice

We'd like to remind everyone that stormwater management ponds are not safe for winter activities like ice skating, hockey, sledding or even walking across.


Please stay safe - obey posted signs and stay off stormwater management ponds.

Winter Parking Reminder

There is no parking on municipal roads between 2:00am and 7:00am from Labour Day to Victoria Day.


While this is particularly important in the winter to allow for snow clearing, this restriction applies at all times, even when there is no snow present.
