OCTOBER PARENT NEWS
Greetings Parents,

Campus is abuzz with energy, as our students re-engage with one another after their first fall break. God has blessed us with such a beautiful fall in Minnesota! It has been great to connect with many new parents since Welcome Week, and I look forward to seeing more parents at upcoming events. We are here to encourage and inform you, and to help you stay connected – with each other and with the university - and engage in the mission of University of Northwestern.
Get the ultimate glimpse of what it's like to be an Eagle. UNW premiered a drone video showcasing our beautiful campus and various segments of student life that contribute to the overall UNW experience.
On October 1st and 2nd we held our first Homecoming since 2019, and experienced several other Homecoming firsts:
  • President's Breakfast;
  • Hymn Sing; and
  • dedication of the Billy Graham Sculpture.

Plus Island Chapel Tours, Music Showcase, reunions, alumni games (soccer, baseball, softball and football), Kidzone, root beer floats, and a concert with Matt Maher & Sarah Reeves. And big wins for our UNW volleyball and football teams!

Go Eagles!

I am proud to be a Northwestern Eagle and now a parent of an Eagle. UNW continues to hold to its historical biblical foundation, and stand firm in its commitment to God's Word. As President Cureton frequently states, as the world runs away from Christ, we are running as fast as we can toward Him, boldly, enthusiastically and relentlessly. UNW is training up believers and disciples in a really critical time.
In His Service,

Angel
