Cool sunny days, hot coffee in my hands, watching the leaves gently fall one by one - these are a few of my favorite things that Autumn brings.  As I sit outside enjoying these moments, I can't help but hope that you are relishing them as well.  This time of the year I always stop and ponder the beautiful world we live in and the wonderful people I am surrounded by.  I hope you have the same opportunity to step outside and enjoy these refreshing moments in the midst of your day to day life. I wish everyone happiness and health as these weeks move into the upcoming holiday season. Be sure to always enjoy the little moments, grab a cup of coffee or tea, and stay warm!

Trick or Treat Trail

October 22nd

Princesses, pirates, ghosts and goblins are invited to don their costumes and enjoy a spooktacular celebration at the annual Trick or Treat Trail at Northshore Park. While at the event, children have the opportunity to trick or treat from booth to booth and fill their bags with goodies from local vendors. The FREE event also includes strolling entertainment, carnival games, costume contests, photo areas, food trucks and more!

OctoBEARfest

October 22nd 

 BEARS Etc., a local 501c3 nonprofit, is hoping the community will come out on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from noon until 6:00pm at Papa’s on the Lake to help fund a permanent, community-based, self-sustainable refuge for displaced exotic and wild animals in Montgomery County.  OctoBEARfest features vendors, a Kids Zone area, BBQ plates, and a Silent Auction (including a stay in Cozumel, and a Wine & Liquor pull) with purchase of a $10 ticket through their website. 

Indian Springs' Taste of the Village

October 29th 

The Taste of the Village draws thousands of local residents and showcases products and services from local businesses. The event is free and features delicious samples from a variety of food vendors as well as entertainers, stage shows, bouncy houses, several raffle prizes, and public safety/community service representatives.
