Tickets are on sale NOW for the Temple Emanu-El Preschool (TEPS) Night with the San Jose Giants! This is a great fundraiser, and a way to hang out with all of your friends. TEPS receives a portion of every ticket sold, and Ms. Barb will throw out the first pitch, with Cantor Shafritz will sing the National Anthem! Mark your calendars & get your tickets today!

Shabbat Shalom! We are excited to have you back joining us for services tonight. This is a special service today since it is the installation for Cantor Shafritz. We are honored to have her as our Cantor, and this service is a dedication to her.
Tonight's experience will be a multi-access service, with options to either attend in person, or watch online.

Annual Meeting Save the Date

Get ready for our Annual Meeting, being held IN PERSON this year! This is an important meeting and we need your voice. This year's annual meeting will be a little different and will include breakout groups to discuss and collect feedback on important topics and potential changes for the Temple's future.
We will have a brunch for everyone at 9am, with the meeting starting at 10am.

Brotherhood Social Event with Shir Hadash

Temple Emanu-El’s Brotherhood and Shir Hadash’s Men’s Club have been getting together on an annual basis for well over 10 years. We always start with dinner followed by a sporting event. This year’s event is taking place on Wednesday, 5/4. We will be meeting for dinner at 6PM (most likely at Double D’s in Los Gatos) and enjoying some friendly games of bocce ball at Campo de Bocce in Los Gatos.

Temple Emanu-El's is joining San Jose's Climate Smart GoGreen Team Program
|
Monthly, Wednesdays,
starting May 11th
The GoGreen Teams program is a simple, easy and fun way to learn about climate and sustainability solutions, emergency preparedness and resilience and take actions! It is designed around 7 monthly hour long meetings with an intro meeting and a celebration meeting at the end.
The meetings will take place from 7-8PM on the second Wednesday of the month beginning in May

Chairwoman, Quirina Luna Geary will explore Tamien Nation history, culture, and how we can help them reach their aspirations to reacquire land to rebuild their Nation.

Help Respond to the Current Refugee Crisis: Did you know that in Santa Clara County, Jewish Family Services of Silicon Valley is one of only two nonprofits providing refugee resettlement and connected services for families and individuals?
Currently, JFS SV is assisting refugees from Afghanistan and other locations.
