Thanksgiving 2022 is here, and it's been a year full of changes for The Children’s Hunger Project. We moved into our forever home, and we are now serving more children than ever before!
Being surrounded by so many caring people - our volunteers, businesses, civic groups, congregations, youth supporters, donors, our incredible team of board members and staff (plus their families), and Brevard County leaders, makes our job so rewarding.
We are thankful to the Shah family for making our forever home a reality. This building, known as The Shah Center to End Childhood Hunger, is a true blessing for our community. Our grand opening/ribbon cutting was held this summer, and were amazed by all the support from our new neighbors and old friends in the community. If you missed the open house and ribbon cutting, click here for the video.
“We see a hungry kid. We buy food. We feed the kid.” is our guiding principle. This is only possible because so many of you volunteer, donate, and share awareness with family, friends and coworkers.
As we approach the close of the year, we are grateful for the opportunity to continue serving Brevard’s children who are at risk of hunger. You have helped them to thrive, in turn nurturing our youngest citizens while investing in our county’s future.
We thank you again for your support! We look forward to making many more memories with you in our forever home.
Happy Thanksgiving!
