A Journey from Custodian to Teacher 

Mr. Dedmon made his way around campus, high fiving those who came out to celebrate his recent accomplishment. It was “Mr. Mike Day” at Joshua Cowell Elementary School. What were they celebrating exactly? Mr. Michael Dedmon, Head Custodian at Joshua Cowell for the past 5 years, accepted a 5th grade teaching position at Nile Garden Elementary!
