Upcoming Pool Deck Project and Closure

Rescheduled Date of Closure

Due to material delays, the pool deck project has been postponed to the last week of November or the first week of December. Once we have confirmed the dates of the rescheduled project, we will provide an update to the community.

Please note that once the project begins, the card scanners at the pool area will be deactivated, and entry to the site is prohibited until the project is complete to ensure the best results.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation while we work to refresh the area. We look forward to inviting you back to enjoy the area once all projects are complete.

Winter Grass and Restricted Field Use Continue

To prevent damage to the turf, we kindly ask that all owners refrain from using the fields for another week. Your cooperation is crucial to ensuring that our winter grass flourishes and that our turf remains green throughout the cool season.

Please keep looking for updates in your weekly community e-newsletters, as these timelines may change depending on the seed growth and overall health of the turf.

Showdown on Sasco Highlights

Thank you to everyone who came out for Showdown on Sasco; there is a lot to celebrate! We hope that you enjoyed the performance from Billy Shaw, Jr. Band, face painting creations from That Balloon Girl, and all the local food truck vendors that were able to help make this event possible.

We would like to recognize our Showdown on Sasco participants: Kyle Kelly, Rick Brimhall, Shannon Norman, and James Gunter. Congratulations to all of our winners! We would also like to thank our judges: Don New, Bart Kahn, Matt Jennings, Corrina Hunter, Wayne Hellekson, and Todd Parker.

Special thanks to the Red Rock Social Committee for their volunteer work and commitment to Red Rock Village. We look forward to continuing to create opportunities to bring the community together.

Weeds and Front Yard Landscape

We appreciate your efforts to help us maintain the appearance of our beautiful community and showcase what Red Rock Village has to offer.

If you notice weeds in your front or side yard, please do your best to remove them as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary notification. We recommend treating larger areas of weeds with post-emergent before pulling them. Post-emergent is the most effective way to kill existing weeds by penetrating the root. After the treatment has taken effect, remove the weed from the root. This will make it more likely to stay away.

While it is not the desire of the Association to use the Enforcement Policy, please understand that one of the Association's primary functions is upholding the same community standards that attracted you to our beautiful community. This policy allows the Association to impose fines on non-compliant owners and secure self-help (enter the lot) at the owner's expense.

Please read the letters carefully to understand where you are in the violation cycle and what to expect. There are several homes with continuing violations. If you have recently cleaned your yard, be sure to email Daniel so he can add you to his follow-up inspection list.

Trash Containers

We know it's "against the rules" to keep your bins at the curb or on the side of your home, but let's talk about why this common community regulation exists. In addition to avoiding a courtesy notice, you should adequately conceal your trash can to:

Maintain Curb Appeal – One of the many reasons you invested in our community is the overall look and feel. That look that attracted you most likely did not include trashcan-lined streets. Seeing trashcans in front of homes or on the street may not bother you, but it is considered an eyesore for many people; and can annoy neighbors or detract potential buyers in our community.

• Prevent Identity Theft – Trash and recycle containers stored in front yards are easier targets for thieves to fish for sensitive information. From credit card bills to junk mail, each piece can contain sensitive information that, when compiled together, helps thieves steal your identity. Consider what you throw out daily and protect yourself by keeping your bins concealed.

• Help with Pest and Animal Control - Your trash is an animal's treasure. Storing your waste containers in a more secure location with limited access to animals helps prevent unwanted break-ins and turned-over bins and makes our community less habitable to unwanted pests and critters.

Your waste containers should be stored out of sight from the street and neighboring properties unless it is collection day. Please do your part to help keep Red Rock Village looking clean and inviting by storing your trash cans out of sight!

Paint Inspections

Exterior paint inspections have begun! Please be sure to look out for notifications that your home is in need of a fresh coat. We understand that painting your home is a big project that requires advanced planning. Please remember that your home's exterior paint is its first line of defense against harsh weather conditions, and putting it off can result in an escalation in the violation process, possible fines, and possible damage to your home.

If you receive a notification of a violation, please read the letter carefully and prepare to repaint your home within the timeframe allotted to prevent additional notification and possible damage to the exterior of your home.

Before beginning your project, please be sure to review Red Rock Village's approved paint colors and submit an architectural request form online. Please do not begin your project until you receive official approval from the Association.

Your Common Area Updates

Irrigation Repairs Underway: Our Santa Rita Landscape Team has diligently identified faulty and damaged valves and controllers throughout the community, especially near the main park and pocket parks. The water supply to these areas may need to be turned off as the team works to complete repairs and replacements on the equipment.

A huge thank you to our Santa Rita Landscape Team for their efforts in quickly identifying leaks and making repairs.
