This includes Eagan, Empire, Farmington, Lilydale, Mendota, Mendota Heights, Rosemount, Sunfish Lake, West St. Paul, and Castle Rock, Eureka and Hampton Townships.

Last week’s question was ‘How many new employees have you hired in the past 6 months?'
Responses showed that there is hiring activity in our midst with only 25% of respondents having hired no employees, 25% hired 1 in the last 6 months, 25% hired 3-4, and 25% hired 5 or more.

Two DCR members have reached out in the last week to sign up for classes! There is still time to take advantage of these free classes at DCTC as DEED has extended the timeline through which the Multicultural Training can be taken.

Happy Birthday West St. Paul!
The City of West St. Paul was founded 136 years ago on February 22, 1889. It’s no wonder that our longest participating DCR Member, Westview Park Apartments, has been a Member for over 62 years. Next longest? NSP, now Xcel Energy, at just under 62 years.

Amazon Acquires Property in Eagan
As reported by the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal last week, Amazon.com Inc. has acquired over 95 acres of the former Thomson Reuters campus in Eagan, supporting other indicators that the e-commerce giant is involved in a redevelopment of the site. Minneapolis-based developer, and DCR Member, Ryan Cos. US Inc. is in the process of transforming 179 acres of the Thomson Reuters’ 263-acre campus into a mix of industrial and residential uses.
