Lent and Holy Week Offerings 2023

We have many options to observe a holy Lent this year, including additional worship services here and with our sister parishes in the Evelyn Underhill Region.

See all Lent and Holy Week offerings here.

Join us in-person, or via Zoom for Adult Formation discussing “Life Transformed: The Way of Love in Lent”, connect online for Noonday prayers, participate in Lent Madness and join us for a Golden Halo themed coffee hour!

Financial Stewardship for 2023

Thank you to those who have pledged financial support of our ministries in 2023. This is a big help to the Finance Committee in building the budget.

It's not too late to make a pledge or increase your existing pledge. Thanks to an increase this week, we are now at $114,236 in pledges, which is $5,764 shy of our barebones budget and $15,764 shy of what it will take to be live more fully into our identity as the Church on Main Street, where love begets love.

READING WITH THE RECTOR

Sunday, March 12th

11:30am - 1:00pm

in the common room, or via Zoom

We will be discussing:

The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini

The unforgettable, heartbreaking story of the unlikely friendship between a wealthy boy and the son of his father’s servant, caught in the tragic sweep of history, The Kite Runner transports readers to Afghanistan at a tense and crucial moment of change and destruction. A powerful story of friendship, it is also about the power of reading, the price of betrayal, and the possibility of redemption; and an exploration of the power of fathers over sons—their love, their sacrifices, their lies.

THE BISHOP'S VLOG

This Lent, try living your faith out loud - 2/22/23

This year we are entering Lent after learning that President Jimmy Carter, at 98 our longest-living former president, has entered hospice care. Bishop Hughes reflects on the example he has set of living one's faith out loud as an unabashed Christian and urges us to consider what this would look like for each of us.
