Adult Sunday School Classes

We have a variety of adult Sunday School classes happening now through November 5, 2023. All classes begin at 9:00 am on Sundays. You can join a class at anytime during the Sunday School semester. We hope you will find a class that will benefit your relationship with Christ and connect you with others. To see class options and to learn more about each class and its location, we invite you to either pick up a Sunday School booklet in the worship center or clicking here to see the booklet online.

Men's Monthly Golf Outing

Friday, September 22

Fall Photos and Fun Festival

Saturday, September 23

We hope you are inviting your friends and neighbors in the community to our outreach event, Fall Photos & Fun Festival, this Saturday, September 23, from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm.

We hope you will invite someone that you are praying for and hopefully this outreach is an opportunity for you to care for your guests and to build good will for an opportunity to share the gospel.

Monthly Day of Prayer

Tuesday, September 26

All are invited to participate in the Monthly Day of Prayer on Tuesday, September 26. There are two ways you can participate. One is to come in-person for your prayer time to the Covenant Day School Conference Room located in the A Building (this room is located next to the church’s main office) anytime between 7:30 am – 7:00 pm. Prayer guides are provided. Another option is to pick a time slot and pray where you are, whether that’s at home or at work. The day is divided into 30-minute segments for individuals to sign up and pray for supported workers and for the needs of our congregation. You can select the time that best fits your schedule by clicking here. First Friday Fellowship

All moms are welcome to join children’s ministry staff and other moms for a time of fellowship and discussion. Each month we will discuss a new topic centered around interests of young moms. Communicants Class is Forming Soon

Deadline for Applications is October 6

Our 2023-24 communicants class will be forming soon! If you have a son/daughter in the 5th-8th grade who desires to become a communing member of the church in this year’s class, please contact Amy Wallace at awallace@christcovenant.org for more information and for an application. We would love to have all applications in by Friday, October 6. We look forward to having your student join us!

HisAbilities Respite Night

HisAbilities Fall Respite Night is Saturday, October 14, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm, in the lower level of the Community Life Center (CLC). Respite Night serves parents with children impacted by disabilities or who are living with disability themselves. Faithful Conference

"Strangers in a Strange Land"

November 11-12, 2023

We hope you will join us for the Faithful Conference on November 11-12, 2023. This year’s theme is “Strangers in a Strange Land,” with guest speaker Carl Trueman, Professor of Biblical & Religious Studies at Grove City College and author of The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self: Cultural Amnesia, Expressive Individualism, and the Road to Sexual Revolution, and Strange New World: How Thinkers and Activists Redefined Identity and Sparked the Sexual Revolution.

Register today at faithfulconference.org! This year’s Faithful Conference costs $10 per person, those 18 and younger are free. Paid registrations will receive a $10 off coupon at the bookstore (received by email the week of the conference) and a copy of Carl Truman’s book, Strange New World. All registrations must be submitted by Friday, November 10, at noon to receive the coupon.

We also have free children’s programs on Saturday night for ages 4 months - 5th grade. All children’s programs on Sunday morning and Sunday evening will operate as normal. To register your child(ren) for Saturday night’s activities, register at faithfulconference.org.

Women’s Bible Study Registration is Open!

It’s not too late to register for a women’s fall Bible study! There are options for daytime and evening studies as well as weekly and monthly studies. Childcare is offered for certain daytime studies. Visit the Women’s Ministry webpage to learn more.

Children's Sunday School Spotlight

During Sunday School this morning, all our children from two years-old to fifth grade are learning about Noah and the ark in The Biggest Story Bible Storybook curriculum, from the lesson “Rain, Rain, Go Away,” on Genesis 6-9. The focus verse for the week is Genesis 7:12, “Rain fell upon the earth forty days and forty nights.” If you sit near a family with young children, please take a moment to ask the children to share what they learned in Sunday School with you!

Prayer Guides Available

Did you know we have various prayer guides available each week? Our church produces a weekly prayer guide that features a persecuted church and an unreached people group. We have a prayer guide with new updates and requests from our supported workers that can be found in the north and south lobbies under the screen. We also have a church-wide prayer guide that can be picked up in the main lobby on the guest center desk. All prayer guides can be found at christcovenant.org/prayer.

Pickup Basketball Fellowship and Outreach

Men's Ministry is starting Pickup Basketball Fellowship and Outreach this spring. We are playing Saturday mornings from 8:00 am - 10:00 am in Christ Covenant's Aux Gym located in the A building (next to the playground). If you are interested in participating, please reach out to Robby Bell at robbybell30@gmail.com for more information.
