Land Banking Application Announcement

Dear Colorado Proposition 123 Stakeholders:

As previously shared, CHFA received 113 LOIs from organizations seeking more than $255M in the FY22-23 Land Banking round. Based on the maximum statutory allowance, approximately $24.5M is available for deployment via the Land Banking program.

Given the significant demand for funds, CHFA and OEDIT have determined that a competitive application process will be required. Twenty-five LOI submissions representing $46.9M have been invited to apply. This initial determination was made based on the following criteria:

  1. Readiness to proceed (shovel ready)
  2. Development Plan status
  3. Financial feasibility
  4. Geographic distribution
  5. Dollar amount of request
  6. Total number of units proposed

Those not invited to apply at this time and future interested applicants will have the opportunity to submit an LOI for consideration for the 23-24 fiscal year, details of which will be announced as soon as possible.

We are excited to continue to implement Proposition 123 programs and help to meet the affordable housing needs of Colorado.
