ANDREAS NOTTEBOHM
New Artist
KN 2195
Oil on Etched Aluminum
12 x 40 in.
Lahaina Galleries is honored to announce the addition of “The Godfather of Metal Art”, Andreas Nottebohm, to our Ohana. His luminous paintings are brought to life through a proprietary technique of grinding the metal’s surface creating depth, movement, and the magic that started a whole new genre of art. Nottebohm's abstract works quickly gained recognition throughout the art world in the early 2000s for their in-
ovative, interactive and simply stunning quality. Nottebohm’s work, and he has been included in the collections of museums such as the Smithsonian Institution, the Sacramento Crocker Art Museum, the NASA Art Collection, the Schnitzer Museum of Art in Oregon, Farhat Museum in Beirut, Lebanon, and many more.

OIL SPILL
Southern California
We are devastated by the tragic oil spill in Southern California that continues to negatively impact the beautiful beaches and wildlife in the area.

In an effort to raise funds to protect the local wildlife, Caroline Zimmermann and Lahaina Galleries invite you to “Make an Offer” on the limited-edition giclee on canvas of
“Diver’s Cove Dream”.
"Diver's Cove Dream, Laguna Beach"
40 x 30 in.
Unframed Print Retails: $1,950

100% of the proceeds of the sale will be donated to:
Wetlands & Wildlife Care Center
Artist and California Native, Caroline Zimmermann reflects on her relationship with the Pacific ocean and the experiences that inspired her as an artist.

"During the span of my life the Pacific Ocean and the Southern California coast has been a constant presence for me. As a surfer, I have enjoyed countless waves and walks on its pristine beaches. As a painter, the beauty and majesty of this coastline with its rich diversity of wildlife has been an endless source of inspiration for my work.  My heart aches for the beaches and all the living creatures adversely affected by this devastating oil spill." ~ Caroline Z.
ALOHA & MAHALO
A Couple of Coconuts!
Thanksgiving in Hawaii is a lot like Thanksgiving on the mainland - except perhaps for the weather…and maybe some poi cooked luau-style (in the ground)…with coconut milk! It’s hard to hold down all that food in your opu (stomach), unless you can lie down on your surf board waiting for a set to come in!

That said, the true spirit of the holiday is not forgotten here.  We want to take a moment to reflect on our blessings, and convey how grateful we are for our Lahaina Galleries’ Ohana and this beautiful island we call home. We also wish to recognize the many organizations and individuals who make great efforts to feed the needy in Hawaii on this special day.

Nancy and I hope that all of you also have a wonderful holiday with an abundance of food and special time with relatives and friends!
We are so thankful for 45 amazing years of bringing you the Art of Aloha!
