Dear Family and Friends of South Cove Manor:
It is that time of year when flu season is beginning. The Department of Public Health and the Center for Disease Control is encouraging all residents to receive the flu vaccine. It is anticipated the vaccine will be available soon and will be offered to all residents free of charge.
Enclosed is a CDC’s “Inactivated Influenza Vaccine Information Statement”. We have your loved one’s annual flu vaccination consent in our record. If you continue to wish your loved one to receive an annual flu vaccine at South Cove Manor, then no further action is needed, but if you’ve changed your mind, then please contact the Unit Manager of your loved one’s unit as soon as possible. We will set up a date and time for your loved one to receive the vaccine.
