Fools 50k & 25k

April 8th at Camp Manatoc

• Camp Manatoc hosts three Western Reserve Racing trail races each year – Fools, Leave No Trace, and Minnehaha. So let's take a moment to learn about the history of this gorgeous reservation.
• Camp Manatoc started as a gift from H. Karl Butler to the Akron Boy Scouts to open a summer camp in 1923 and is now one of the oldest operating Scout camps in the country.
• After Butler’s death, the original camp and his farm were donated to the Boy Scouts of America to care for and improve upon for generations to come.
• The current Manatoc Scout Reservation is now 600 acres, totaled from Butler’s donations in addition to land previously known as Ledgewood Dairy Farm purchased by the BSA in 1958.
• The Manatoc Scout Reservation will be having its centennial celebration this year.
• Join us for the Fools 50k & 25k and be a part of history at Manatoc.

Summer Sasquatch 50k, 20 & 10M

June 10th & 11th at Salt Fork State Park

You heard that right, Sasquatch!

• Western Reserve Racing is coming back to Salt Fork State Park, June 10th and 11th!
• Join WRR and Sasquatch on the gorgeous trails in the state park passing by the lake and winding through the woods.
• This trail can be muddy, and Sasquatch loves to steal mud covered trail shoes.
• Sasquatch welcomes you to book a stay overnight at the lodge, right at the start and finish line. Just beware, there is a pool and Sasquatch isn't afraid to show you his front flip!
