Children's Dance Summer 2025

For Ages 3-6

We are happy to be offering lots of learning opportunities for very young children again this Summer, including numerous once-a-week Summer Open Classes, as well as our very popular Children's Dance Summer Workshops offered weekly (M-F) from 9am-Noon each day. See below for a description of each of these fun-in-the-summertime options!

Children's Dance Summer Workshops

Princess 1

This theme is so popular we always start and end our summers with this royal workshop. Grab your tiara and join your favorite Princesses for a Summer adventure!

June 9-13

Sea & Sand

Enjoy a week by the shore in our Greensboro Ballet dance studios! We'll explore, through movement and crafts, everything magical about the ocean, sea creatures, pirates, mermaids & more.

June 23-27

Flowers & Fairies

This lovely workshop includes discovering the wonder of glittering fairies and beautiful dancing flowers. Put on your fairy wings, grab your magic wand, and come ready to fly thru this magical week of summer fun.

July 7-11

Sugar Plum Fairy

It's like Christmas in July with this magical week focused on the Sugar Plum Fairy of The Nutcracker. Explore movement and dance with the Sugar Plum Fairy as she welcomes young Clara to her kingdom.

July 14-18

Superheros

Back by popular demand! Out of this world fun for boys and girls ready to stop evil and save the day. These mighty heroes will run, jump and "fly" through a week of action-packed fun.

July 21-15

Frozen

Take a break from the Summer heat with this "coolest" of camps. Run, skip and twirl as if you were an icy Princess or sparkling Queen dancing across a frozen kingdom.

July 28 - Aug 1

Wizard of Oz

Join us this week for our first ever Wizard of Oz summer workshop as we twirl, leap and tip-toe over the rainbow! Join Dorothy as she meets friends and foes and we imagine this classic tale as a ballet story.

August 4-8

Princess 2

A Princess can be anyone she wants to be and can do anything she puts her mind to. During this adventurous week, we will have a royal dance party filled with all of your favorite fairy tale Princesses and more!

August 11-15

Children's Dance

Summer Open Classes

Classes for ages 3-6 are offered once a week and include movement explorations, pre-ballet technique, creative play and learning of the basic dance steps.

Saturdays: 9:30am-10:15am

June 7 - August 16

SUMMER FOR AGES 3-6

ALL OTHER SUMMER

All students must register through Greensboro Ballet's JackRabbit account and then login again to register for any/all summer workshops/classes desired.

There is an automatic $20 registration fee charged when you register. Register with our early-bird discount (By March 1st) and your registration fee will be waived!

Students with a JackRabbit account need only to login into their account to register for their chosen summer offerings.

There is a 50% non-refundable tuition fee that will be processed upon completion of your summer registration. The balance of tuition is due the first day of the month of your first summer intensive, workshop, or class.

Don't Forget About Our Mad Hatter Tea!

Another event designed for young children is our annual tea party fundraising events. This year we are hosting our first ever Mad Hatter Tea in the playfully decorated Renaissance Room of the beautiful Carolina Theatre.
