A Message from Mayor Susan Shin Angulo
Dear Neighbor:

As we enter the final weeks of summer, I want to encourage everyone to have fun, make the most of time with family and friends, and above all, stay safe.

The Delta variant continues to pose a deadly threat to those not vaccinated against Covid-19, and I encourage anyone who is not yet vaccinated to please make a plan to get your shot today. The State's Covid-19 website has all the information you need to know to schedule an appointment, click here for more information.

I want to also congratulate Cherry Hill National's 2021 Cal Ripken 10U World Series Champions for their recent victory in Palm Beach! I know the entire team worked incredibly hard to represent Cherry Hill and bring home a National Championship, and I am so proud of all that they have accomplished.

The Council meeting for this coming Monday the 23rd was cancelled, but I can't wait for our next Council Meeting on Sept. 13, when we'll recognize the team and their big win.

Also at that meeting, we will be holding a public hearing on the fiscal year 2022 budget, which keeps the municipal tax rate flat — for the 10th year in a row. This budget reflects my and Town Council’s dedication to fiscal responsibility while investing in neighborhoods, roads, public safety, public works, recreation, open space and other vital Township services. More information will be posted on the Township website ahead of the Council Meeting. As always, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call my office at 856-488-7878.

Sincerely,

Susan Shin Angulo

Mayor, Council honor Erlton Swim Club for Cherry Bowl Victory
At Monday night's Council meeting, Mayor Susan Shin Angulo and Township Council honored Erlton Swim Club's Gators for the team's impressive victory at the 61st annual Cherry Bowl in July. Township Council President David Fleisher, Vice President Brian Bauerle and Councilwoman Carole Roskoph joined the Mayor in presenting the proclamation to the team.

Erlton Swim Club amassed a collective 1,068 points at the Cherry Bowl, the highest number of points a winning team has scored in more than 12 years, and enough to earn them their fourth straight Cherry Bowl title. The Championship is now Erlton Swim Club's seventh in the past nine years.

The team at the Erlton Swim Club credits Coach Mike Wilkinson with helping drive the club’s winning streak, as his coaching style creates a cooperative, family-like atmosphere that prioritizes teamwork, dedication and a positive environment. Congrats Gators!

Help Cherry Hill become a Certified NWF Habitat Community!
Help us reach our goal!

The Cherry Hill Environmental Board is inviting residents to join our National Wildlife Federation "Habitat Community" program. We are very close to becoming one of only 135 towns in the country to be recognized by the NWF as a leader in wildlife habitat restoration.

By providing food and water sources, nesting sites and cover for our valuable pollinators and songbird species, our participating residents are restoring habitat and creating a healthier environment.

You can help by participating in the National Wildlife Federation Certified Habitat program. Click here for certification information, work through the simple checklist, and become one of over 250 certified habitats within the township.

With your help, we can become a NWF Certified Habitat Community by the end of 2021!
Now, residents can upload photos of their habitats to our new township webpage.
