Story Walk

Come and enjoy the lights in the gardens and read a very special children's book; 11 Words for Love by Randa Abdel-Fattah and Maxine Beneba Clarke. A moving and joyful book for children of all backgrounds about the many ways we love.
Storytime and Babytime
The last sessions in 2022 for Storytime and Babytime will be on Thursday 8 December.

Storytime is a wonderful time to join us for some stories, songs and craft.
Babytime, feel the joy with songs and rhymes.

Nesting Rhapsody Raffle: Patrick Pearson artworks exhibition

Congratulations to Jennifer, on winning the limited-edition print ‘Nesting Rhapsody (Sugar Gum, Brownhill Creek)' by Patrick Pearson. Patrick’s award-winning abstracts featured at the Mitcham Memorial Library gallery last month.

Gallery Exhibition: Bedford Day Options

This year the Mitcham Memorial Library will present a Christmas display that will feature works from Bedford Day Options, with unique pottery, paintings and some very special pieces.
Library programs and events 2023
Library programs and events for 2023 will resume Wednesday 1 February. (Home Library Service, Tech Time, Adult and Children's events and programs, including Book Groups). Keep an eye out for updated events. Details will be available in 2023 via the library catalogue and Mitcham Council website.
Blackwood Hub update
Blackwood Hub steel work is going up and formation of window frames and skylight circles can now be seen.

Leone:
This book is a very enjoyable read. It is a historical novel with lots of adventure, sacrifice and love. The author weaves a good story with a great hero and heroine! 
Andrée:
David Copperfield updated to 21st century Appalachia. This is a moving and topical re-telling of the Dickens classic.
Jayne: 
Detective Aaron Falk is back for a third and final book, Exiles. Set in small town South Australia, a quiet mystery with a menacing undercurrent, classic Jane Harper.
