NAECR Networking: Exploring Research Impact Through Partnerships
Research collaborations and partnerships are essential for early childhood researchers. This session will include remarks from Jocelyn Bosley, UNL research impact coordinator, who will share strategies for coordinating research impacts, including the facilitation of research partnerships.
The session will also include breakout rooms and small group conversations for NAECR researchers to share strategies for initiating and sustaining research partnerships and collaborations with community partners and other researchers.

Nebraska Evaluation Network seeks board members
|
|
The Nebraska Evaluation Network is accepting board applications. Up to five new board members will be elected to start terms of service in early 2023.
The Nebraska Evaluation Network's aims are to:
- serve as a regional resource to program evaluators, organizations and community programs through the provision of continuing education opportunities, student development and a networked evaluation referral service;
- engender the development of community organizations that value evaluation and successfully use evaluation as part of a culture of continuous improvement; and
- create support for an environment that has adequate funding for evaluation of programs to maximize benefits for individuals, organizations and communities.

Graduate students who are interested in early childhood are encouraged to visit the site when planning for class registration.

Early Career Interdisciplinary Scholars Fellowship Program
The Early Career Interdisciplinary Scholars Fellowship is designed to allow early scholars in relevant fields outside of psychology/human development to participate in the SRCD Biennial Meeting.
This will provide fellows with exposure to developmental theory and research, as well as opportunities to interact with and present their research to other researchers within the society. This bi-directional exchange is hoped to speed the flow of ideas and generate novel interdisciplinary collaborations.

Spencer Foundation – Small Research Grants on Education
This program supports education research projects that will contribute to the improvement of education, broadly conceived, with budgets of up to $50,000 for projects ranging from one to five years.

Spencer Foundation – Research-Practice Partnerships: Collaborative Research for Educational Change
This program supports education research projects that engage in collaborative and participatory partnerships with project budgets up to $400,000 and durations of up to three years.

Brady Education Foundation
The Foundation is currently accepting Research Project (RP) proposals and Existing Program Evaluation (EPE) proposals that have the potential to provide data that will inform how to address disparities in educational opportunities associated with race, ethnicity and family income.

Nebraska Research Initiative and Collaboration Initiative Grants
The Nebraska Research Initiative and Collaboration Initiative is accepting proposals for one- or two-year grants to fund preliminary data collection, resubmissions, exploratory research, seed grants, NSRI IRAD topics and Intellectual Property (IP) development.
With the exception of grants specifically for IP development, awards are only available to collaborative teams with faculty from at least two different NU campuses. Principal investigators must attend the NRI and Collaboration Initiative Grants annual meeting to be eligible for funding.

Caplan Foundation for Early Childhood
The Caplan Foundation for Early Childhood is an incubator of promising research and development projects that appear likely to improve the welfare of young children, from infancy through 7 years, in the United States.
Grants are only made if a successful project outcome will likely be of significant interest to other professionals, within the grantee’s field of endeavor, and would have a direct benefit and potential national application.
