It is very helpful that we continue income at this time as we seek to create connections to each other and maintain parish life. If you are not a pledger at Transfig, please do use our ‘virtual offering plate’ on the front page of our website to make a contribution to our work as you are able.

Happy Birthday

Introducing our Interim Director of Music, Terry Farrow
I’m very happy to be joining you as interim music director. A bit about me. I completed music studies in organ performance at the University of Illinois and the Eastman School of Music. After music school, I moved to NYC where I served as organist/choir director at St. Luke’s Episcopal, Forest Hills. In NYC, I also worked as musician playing the keyboard parts for several Broadway musicals and was a pianist/conductor/assistant conductor for several touring shows. During that time, the HIV epidemic was raging, and I decided to go to medical school to contribute to ending that epidemic. I trained in internal medicine and HIV care in NYC and then worked as a front-line clinician in NYC and later SF. I always had a plan to live in San Francisco and moved to the Bay Area about 9 years ago. I am now happy to be living in San Mateo with my partner and my 2 rescue dogs. I am currently using my medical training at Gilead Sciences working on HIV medicines. Transfiguration is lucky to have both a wonderful organ and choir, and I look forward to being with you during this interim. All the best, terry
