Dear Friend of MCF,

The last few months has been very busy and full of exciting news as many of you read through our recent announcements. In case you missed it, a gift of $2,000,000 was made anonymously by a generous philanthropist to provide seed money to support the creation of a park for an underserved community.

Another extraordinary commitment of $1,000,000, comes from MCF Executive Committee member Gloria Nilson and her husband, Len. The gift will allow for the creation of The Nilson Society, a planned giving program for MCF donors who provide for the organization in their estate plans.

As we approach Thanksgiving, words can't adequately express how grateful we are for these gifts that will ensure that countless people and wildlife will have access to parks and greenspaces. I am humbled by the generosity of our friends and supporters.

Land Acquisition Funds Announced

Green Acres recommended awards were recently announced. MCF and municipal partners, Fair Haven, Howell, and Millstone, have all been recommended to receive significant grants to allow for new park projects. Congratulations to all who will receive recommended awards from this critical funding source. Learn more about how MCF can help your town apply for funding through our services.

Bench Dedication at Sea Bright's Newest Park

We recently unveiled the first of many inscribed benches at Shrewsbury Riverfront Park in Sea Bright.
