DAR Recognizes Anna Grace Chafin

The Henry Middleton Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution recognized one of our very own, Anna Grace Chafin, at the Aiken County Historical Museum as this year's DAR Good Citizen. Selected by the faculty of Mead Hall, Anna Grace received a stipend and a certificate. Additionally, Anna Grace wrote an essay, which was selected as the winning essay for this area and it has been submitted to the next phase of the competition. During the ceremony this morning, she was asked to read her essay to the audience, which included members of the Henry Middleton Chapter of DAR, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William and Amber Chafin, other students and their families.
