Swing it FORE Education
Our annual Golf FORE Education Tournament presented by Insurance Office of America is set for Monday, April 3rd. Sponsorships are still available for this SOLD OUT tournament that has supported Seminole County Public Schools for over 27 years.
Can't swing a sponsorship but still want to show your support? We're looking for donations such as dining gift cards, unique experiences, retail gift cards, golf equipment, weekend getaways, wine, liquor, and gift baskets.

These items will be used to raise necessary funds the day of the tournament to help us reach our goals. Email Racheal Colburn today to donate an item!

From playing, sponsoring, and donating player gifts, there are many ways to make a difference for students and teachers of SCPS.
Do You Know A Graduating Senior?
Thanks to the generous support from our community, the Foundation is awarding over $163,000 in scholarships this spring.

Our 40+ scholarships range in value and while most are available to all SCPS high schools, others are high school specific. Some opportunities focus on Areas of Study such as Trade Programs, Education, Nursing, the Arts, Engineering and STEM fields or to students who've participated in athletic programs, art programs, extracurricular activities, and community service. Factors such as students who have overcome challenges, experienced homelessness, demonstrate financial need, or currently live in the Midway community of Sanford are also considered.

Do you know a graduating senior who would be interested in applying? The application window is currently open and closes on March 21st. Seniors can apply HERE.

Inspired by Arts!
During the month of February, The Foundation kicked off "Inspired by Arts" week which is brand new this school year. Throughout the month, members of our board had the pleasure of visiting SCPS schools to award them with checks to support their visual and performing arts programs. Each year, The Foundation proudly commits $100,000 to support these programs in all of our schools.
In addition to delivering checks, between February 13-17, we highlighted different art programs on our social media with videos and photos submitted by students and teachers. Each program highlighted received a $200 donation.

"Inspired by Arts week gives talented students a chance to share with our community the amazing arts programs in our schools, from 2D art to TV production. I'm excited The Foundation could launch this program and provide continued funding to support the arts." said Jean Vansmiith, Foundation Executive Director.
