There's a whole lot happening at Aspen Ridge in November and beyond.

Here's your mid-month update to keep you all caught up!

We recognize that parents provide their children with cell phones and smart watches for safety reasons, and we understand that students will bring these items to school. However, students must follow the rules of cell phones and smart watches while on school campus.

• Cell phones must be powered off, silent, and out of sight during the school day.
• Smart watches may be worn on the wrist, but only used as a watch. Calling/messaging/other features may not be used during the school day. 
• Parents who need to reach their child (or vice versa) should communicate via the Front Office.
• If a student isn't feeling well, they should come to the office to see our Health Clerk.  

If a student is using their cell phone or smart watch in school, during school hours, consequences may include: verbal warning, phone call home, cell phone/smart watch held in the office for parent to pick up, and/or loss of privileges.

Thank you for reviewing these guidelines with your child(ren) and helping us create a successful learning environment for all of our students.

What a terrific turnout we had for our first school-wide PTO Meeting! Thank you to everyone who came out to support and learn more about the ARPS PTO. Congratulations to the four parents (Kelly Z, Kristen M, Vania L, and Niki M) who won ARPS gear just for showing up! All future PTO meetings will take place on the second Wednesday of the month at 6:00pm. We hope to see you there!

Interested in leading a Breakfast with Dad event? We've had such an awesome turnout for our K-5 meetings that we'd like to break these into two monthly events starting in the new year. We're looking for an Aspen Ridge dad (or two) who would be up for leading gatherings for our our youngest owls, in grades K-2. Training would be provided! Please email Jason Spears to learn more.
