Christmas Tree Recycling

Trees in plastic bags or flocked trees cannot be recycled. Live tree collection will continue through the end of January.

Fireworks Prohibited to Celebrate the New Year
You may have heard about a new law signed by the Governor that states starting in July 2022, the public may use fireworks in Ohio on certain holidays. As New Year’s Eve 2021 approaches, however, Cleveland Heights residents should be aware that it is still unlawful to set off fireworks within City limits on any occasion (Section 1509.04 of the City’s ordinances). Even after the new state law is enacted, the City expects to continue to ban the discharge of fireworks, as it is allowed to do under the new law.

Cain Park is accepting applications for the 2022 Cain Park Arts Festival, which is scheduled to take place July 8-10, 2022. Application deadline is March 4.
