New Format for IPUL's Monthly Trainings
We Heard Your Feedback!
We have a new format for our monthly trainings!
We are moving to an on-demand self-paced training format, with a live follow-up zoom "Office Hours" meeting at the end of the month.
We will be releasing a new self-guided training at the First Monday of each month - it will stay live for the full month on our event registration page, then on the last Wednesday of each month we will have an open zoom meeting to discuss the training and answer any questions you may have had about it.
Registering for the training will give you immediate access to the training, and we will also email you with a link to that same training, as well as a link to any handouts for the training, and a survey link so you can let us know what you think.
| |
Some specific links:
You can find the current month's training listed on our Upcoming Workshops and Events page, where its currently the top of the timeline at the time of this post:

You will be able to find all the archived versions of our trainings that we recorded as well as the self-guided trainings in our IPUL's Productions page on our website in our productions page, as well as links to our archive of our weekly newsletters, our monthly Youth Corners, digital copies of our print publications, and links to our podcast:
https://ipulidaho.org/ipul-productions/
Archived webinars can be found here:
https://ipulidaho.org/ipul-productions/ipulondemandwebinars/
And the new self-guided trainings can be found here:

It's our intention to keep the self-guided trainings up to date informationally - so these should always have the most current information.
We'd really love your feedback on this new system!

2 of 4 Youth Behavioral Health Community Crisis Centers are Open!
The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare is pleased to announce the opening of Youth Behavioral Health Community Crisis Centers (YBHCCCs) serving communities in Idaho.
The centers in Idaho Falls (Rise Up Teen and Child Crisis Center of East Idaho) and Twin Falls (ProActive Youth and Family Support Center) are currently open. Two remaining YBHCCCs open soon in Boise (October) and Caldwell (January).
The YBHCCCs are 100% voluntary, free, and open 24/7 to youth in Idaho. No appointments. Just walk in. Youth aged 12-17 may expect a calm environment to help de-escalate a BH crisis. The centers give parents and/or care givers time to re-group during crisis situations. These stabilization centers help young people who are experiencing mental health or substance use challenges that greatly disrupt their life and negatively impact the family. The centers provide supports and services for up to 24 hours at earlier stages of a mental health struggle before more intensive, costly, and restrictive interventions are required.
If you have questions, please contact your local YBHCCC (see attached flier).
If you are experiencing a behavioral health crisis and cannot physically reach a YBHCCC, please call 988 now.
