On this sad occasion, the Pastor, Board of Trustees, and all the auxiliary bodies of St. Sarkis Church, extend their heartfelt sympathy to Helen's family members.
Helen was born on November 12, 1924 to Pelos and Elizabeth Poladian. She was raised in the Armenian-Hungarian community of Delray in southwest Detroit. After graduating from Southwestern High School, she worked in a bank downtown as a bookkeeper. She married Anthony Yangouyian and together they raised one son, Anthony, and three daughters, Cynthia, Sandra and Susan.
Helen worked hand in hand with her husband bookkeeping for his businesses. She enjoyed an active life in Lathrup Village while raising her children and loved vacationing at their winter home in Pompano Beach, Florida. In later years, she participated in the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was employed at Crowley’s home décor and children’s departments.
