Sunday Morning Worship
Join us this Sunday for Worship at 8:30 and 11 AM with Sunday Wonder Hour at 9:45 AM.

You can find past sermons and the upcoming order of worship on our website.

This week's scripture for reflection: Luke 18:1-8

Wednesday Night Live
Sign up for dinner each week catered by Daily Dish! Suggested pricing: $10 per adult/youth, $5 per child, $25 family max. Remember to RSVP for dinner by the Sunday before each Wednesday night. Dinner starts at 6 and programming follows at 6:45 PM.

Tomorrow night is dinner only, no programming. Next Wednesday, join us for Advent: Writing as a Spiritual Practice. Our staff is hosting a "writer's workshop," and you have two time options to attend. Come either from 4:00 to 5:45 and/or 6:45 to 8:00 PM. Come and gather in the sanctuary to write as an act of holy gratitude and a way to open yourself to the season of Advent. This way of exploring the texts together can be a spiritual and imaginative practice. We hope this will encourage many to submit their writing for our annual Advent Devotional Guide.
Meet the Primetimers at the church at 10 AM. They will leave by bus to travel down Natchez Trace on the Fall Color Bus Tour. Lunch is at noon at the Square Market Café in Columbia and the bus will return to church by 2 PM.

Many thanks to everyone who joined for our 2NDSAT project! We had a great time making snack bags for Franktown Open Hearts and patient care kits for the Monroe Carell Children's Hospital. And a special thank you to Franktown Executive Director, Chris Barnhill, for speaking with us! Make sure to save the date for next month's project on November 12.

Thank you again for inviting me out for your Wednesday night dinner and fellowship. First Presbyterian has been our partner since our very inception! Since 1995, GraceWorks has responded with loving compassion to help everyday people who are struggling with life circumstances that have come their way. You have joined us in providing Christ-centered hope through our volunteers, food pantry, emergency housing and utility assistance, clothing bank and our senior medical transportation - just to name a few. Thank you for giving. Thank you for caring.
