Join Rabbi Magat for a new Torah segment called " A Bissel of Torah". This is an opportunity for a 2 minute Torah Study with Rabbi as we look at the Parasha of the week, and see how we can apply it to our life and learn any teachings. | |

Mishloach Manot - LAST DAY TO SPONSOR IS TOMORROW! |
The 5783 Confirmation Class is excited to be providing Mishloach Manot to all Temple Emanu-El Members. As we celebrate Purim, in the scrolls of Esther (9:19), we're instructed to send gifts (called Mishloach Manot) to one another so the entire community can celebrate Purim together.

Shabbat Shalom. Tonight is our 4th Friday of the Month, Zoom Shabbat at Home Service. You are invited to register below and you will be sent a Zoom link to attend services. Cantor Shafritz will be leading services, and providing page numbers, just as they would for in-person services. Follow along in our Shabbat Slides here.

Celebrate our annual Purim Shpiel and Carnival for all Temple Emanu-El Religious School families, and also Temple Emanu-El Members. Come play Carnival games, win prizes, and more!
Lunch will be available for purchase ($5 per person, cash only) thanks to Brotherhood, and Hamentaschen will be available for sale thanks to Sisterhood.

Jewish Non-Fiction Book Club |

In this New York Times Bestseller, the author discusses Yiddish and how it relates to Diaspora Jewish Culture over history. The book provides a fascinating insight into the interaction between Jewish language and culture. The author, a leading figure in Yiddish, has a wealth of information on a wide variety of Yiddish words and expressions.

Purim Adult Purim Experience |

Women's Economic Freedom Community Seder |

Join JCRC and Trinity Cathedral for an Interfaith Community Seder focused on Women's Economic Freedom. All are welcome.
As we experience the rituals of the Passover Seder, we will also explore how the story of the Exodus, particularly the message of the universal quest for freedom, is relevant to the fight for Women's Economic Freedom today. We will be joined by special guest speakers who are local leaders in the fight for Women's Economic Freedom.

Holocaust/Tolerance Education Exhibit at Temple Emanu-El - Free Museum |
April 13 - 20th// 10am // In Person
CHAIM will be at Temple Emanu-El for 3 weeks during the month of April. The purpose of CHAIM is to teach about tolerance and empathy through the lens of the Holocaust. The CHAIM exhibit is appropriate for Jews 5th grade and up, and non-Jews 7th and up. This is an important topic for our times.
