Young Farmers Officer Retreat
On Friday September, 3rd the Fall 2021 Young Farmers Officer Team attended their officer retreat in Sacramento. While spending time there, they were able to enjoy food, visit California Farm Bureau and the state capitol. The team was able to come together to plan the upcoming events for this semester. They also participated in a scavenger hunt around the capitol park. Lastly, they got to learn more about each other and spend time bonding as officer team together. They cannot wait to meet everyone at the first Young Farmers club meeting on September 27th at 6:30pm!

Animal Science Club
On Friday, September 6th the Animal Science Club hosted the first meeting of the year. During the meeting club chairs; Julia Scarborough and Jenna Love went over the calendar of the animal science events for fall and spring including the cattle jackpot show, field day, the small animal jackpot show, and many other events that the club will be directly connected with.

In addition, they mentioned the show teams and if members are interested, they can join one of the show classes in the spring and talk to one of the animal science teachers about getting more involved. Also, Animal Science apparel will be available to purchase soon.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the animal science club but were unable to make it to the meeting, our main line of communication will be through Remind101. To join the Remind, text @gb4gbb to 81010.

If you have any questions about the club, please talk to one of the animal science teachers and/ or Julia and Jenna. We hope that you will consider joining the club and help us put on some of these outstanding events!
