Artists to Collect &

Galleries to Visit

Each and every issue of Arabella is different. Sometimes we focus more on food than gardens and sometimes great houses and fabulous wines – but the one thing that remains constant about ARABELLA is that we always have great art.

For artists, we tell their stories and connect them with a wide range of admirers and collectors while providing a source of professional inspiration and means of networking with other artists, as well as a wider range of gallery exhibiting opportunities.

For galleries, our editorial provides extremely strong marketing support for promotion of in-gallery events and sales, as well as an ideal means of identifying emerging talent to expand gallery offerings to local clients and art collectors.

In this and subsequent newsletters we will revisit our past and perhaps rekindle interest in artists and galleries which we hope are still vibrant and succeeding in their commitment to sharing their love of all things art.

I hope that you share my love of all things art and you consider joining and working with us in promoting and developing creative talents and businesses.

For You On Valentine's Day

This newsletter leads in the spirit of Valentines Day. Flowers, Vibrant Colors, Chocolate, and Jewelry. If you missed a way to express your love you can always share this issue and make it up as soon as possible. This issue is my Valentine to you!

Dedicated to Agnes Mary Kapp

September 30, 1923 - October 13, 2012

Artists who Paint Flowers in our 2013 Spring issue shares the paintings of many different artists in a variety of mediums. This piece was dedicated to my Mother, Agnes Mary Kapp with whom I shared many happy moments, many built around my writings in ARABELLA. I tried to choose what I thought would be some of my mother’s favorites and also some she never grew because her green thumb just didn’t seem to work on them.

This story is just for you, Mom, with all my love.

To a Very Dear Friend

Catherine O'Donnell (Willow Cakes, Niagara, ON) continues to amaze having recently been admitted into the Canadian Culinary Federation Honour Society. Love to you and family. We miss being just down the street.

Delicious, Delightful & Delectable

A special pictorial narrative to tempt, tease and inspire. There are many ways to say "I love you" but perhaps none better than a shared and very special taste experience. This is not a low calorie story. Enjoy!

Our Spring 2013 issue profiled four galleries, their owners, their commitment to arts and culture, and a selection of their artists at the time. They all have their own unique ways of nurturing, developing and promoting the creative talents of aspiring & achieving artists. ARABELLA is proud to have made a contribution in these efforts and invite you to check out these galleries today and explore the artistic talents now on display. VALENTINE FEATURE PRESENTATION

We at ARABELLA are proud to have had the opportunity to present Canadian artiste Toller Cranston to our readership. His mastery of color, motion and passion speaks well to the valentine theme of love in this issue. Here is an accomplished artist that breaks the mold in almost every way. There are many phrases that can describe his talent and creativity both in front of a canvas or on the ice. “He is best known for his exploits as an innovative figure skater who reshaped the sport in the 1970s and introduced to it a new and vibrant artistic style. Cranston has been described in the press as supremely talented, flamboyant and often outrageous. By many, he has been called a genius.” (Christopher George, ARABELLA, Spring 2013). To view his legacy and catch current exhibits and sales please visit his official website at: https://www.toller-cranston.com/
