The Christian Education Ministry provides weekly spiritual guidance and scriptures to Hillside family, friends, and the community.
- Adult Sunday School on Sundays @9am via Zoom
- Youth Church School on Saturdays @ 1pm via Zoom
Church School has been providing spiritual and scripture guidance during the entire pandemic for two and a half years.
Participate in worship service (chimes, scripture reading, liturgist).
Sponsored the following activities
- Kickoff Tailgate for Youth Church School in parking lot with scripture lesson, food, and games.
- Trunk or Treat on parking lot Saturday, October 29, 2022
- Easter Egg Hunt
- Celebrate and acknowledge graduating seniors providing gift cards and inspirational books
Participated in Fall Festival 2022 with Social Mission Ministry
Received $4,700 grant from the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta for Youth Chimes Choir (Thank you Ms. Doris Clay Jackson for writing the grant)
- Chimes Choir will begin in December
- The Chimes Choir concert will be presented in May
As the year progresses, the Christian Education Ministry will actively work with other ministries to ensure the youth and community have access to God’s word.
