This Week at Surge...

Surge Youth is back at it in the midst of this new year! 2025 is a big year for us, especially as we prepare for our trip to the LCMS National Youth Gathering this July. Please make sure to take a look at the new Youth & Kingdom Kids Event Calendars below. We'll be doing a lot of fundraising over the next 5 months, but we have lots of other fun stuff on the calendar as well.

For the last two weeks during our youth group Bible Study time, we have been chatting about prioritizing time with The Lord in the year ahead. "Righteousness has value for all things."

Here's a good "table time" question to ask your kids & teens at home: What does it really look like in our lives to place our trust and our hope in Christ as we look forward to the next 12 months?

Meet in the youth room between services to get Gathering Updates/Reminders, as well as fundraising information.

I am normally available M, T, Th, from 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays from 2:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Fridays from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Sundays from 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

My Meetings This Week:

M,T,Th, F -- Teaching BCA's 7th/8th Religion Class @ 8:25-9:10 a.m.
Tuesday -- Call Committee @ 6:30

BCA Teaching Schedule

I teach the 7th & 8th grade Religion Class at BCA during the 2nd semester @ 8:30 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. on M, T, Th, F.

*NOTE: We do not yet have a calendar for Club 56. Due to a current lack of adult volunteers for this ministry, we are putting that on hold for the time being. If we are able to recruit enough help for Club 56 (we need 2 more volunteers right now), we will meet with those helpers and then send out an event calendar.

This week-long event is for high schoolers in 9th - 12th grade. Financing information will come out as it is made available.

NYG Registration Payment Plan is available (please see the Endure Info email for details)

Youth and Adult Participation Forms will need to be filled out soon. Stay tuned for that email update!
