WEBINAR
Investment in Africa - How to Spot the Opportunities
The rate of return on foreign investment in Africa is higher than in any other developing region, according to the World Bank. However, venture firms and tech companies often view investing in Africa as a challenge and have not fully engaged in businesses there.

Harambeans is a group of African innovators who have pledged to work together as one to unlock the potential of Africa. To date, Harambeans has spawned a series of tech-enabled ventures such as Andela, Flutterwave, and Yoco. These companies have collectively generated over 3,000 jobs and raised more than $1bn from Google Ventures, CRE Ventures and Accel over the past decade.

What should investors look for and look out for? What is the outlook for scaling African innovations beyond Africa? Gain up to the minute insights as Harambeans founder, Okendo Lewis Gayle and Maya Famodu, founder of Ingressive Capital, discuss investment opportunities and challenges in Africa. Hear what inspires them and learn about the future that lies ahead for investors.
