HELP YOUR AUCTION COMMITTEE
Baskets & Pick-a-Prize
|
Donations gratefully accepted from Parents, Staff, Trustees and Friends of Steppingstone!
As you know, Steppingstone’s 2025 Benefit Auction is fast approaching, and we need your donations of auction items. Here are a few fun basket ideas, but feel free to create your own unique theme!
-
Camping Out – All the basics for a fun family camping trip
-
Home Spa – Bath gels, fluffy slippers, a pedicure kit, etc.
-
Baker’s Basket – A basket of baking mixes and an assortment of items like unique cookie cutters cookbooks, etc.
-
Bar-B-Q Time – You can use a barbecue as a basket and fill it with unique items such as wood for smoking, special sauces, and spices.
-
Culture and Cuisine – Create a basket that shares your love of a particular culture. Last year, a Polish basket and Greek basket were some of the hottest auction items. They included books, food items, and curios. Other years have seen other countries w/foods, artifacts and books … Russia, Japan, China, Malaysia, India.
Another area to donate towards would be for our pick-a-prize:
-
Specialty Chocolates - eg. Sanders, Dove, Alpine, Ghirardelli, Trader Joe’s, etc.
-
Gift cards ($10, $15, or $20) w/current expiration dates for the Gift Card Tree
The gift cards will be clipped onto a “TREE.” The evening of the auction, guests will buy raffle tickets and place them in a secured box for the drawing.
Please complete our acquisition form and submit with your donated item(s).
| The school will be closed next Monday, January 20th for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. | |
STEPPINGSTONE SCHOOL CLOSES
with PLYMOUTH-CANTON SCHOOLS
| |
Next week's temperatures are supposed to be particularly unpleasant, so we'd like to remind you that Steppingstone School closes with the Plymouth-Canton Community Schools for inclement weather. Check the news and internet.
Use your judgement about whether the roads are safe enough to drive to school if you do not live in Plymouth or Canton (or if the weather is dangerously unsuitable in your opinion). If you decide that it is unsafe, please notify us.
