DMS Names Student Advisory Board
Congratulations to the following students for being selected to serve on the DMS Student Advisory Board. DES Media Center Is "Falling" For Books
The Dade Elementary Media Center is "Falling For Books." Be sure to check out was is happening in the DES Media Center! On September 7th, the T-Shirt Fundraiser will begin and orders will be due on September 15th and the Scholastic Book Fair is schedule for November!

Some of the new book series recently added include: Boo Books, Mister Shivers, Pixie Tricks, and Time Jumpers. Be sure to encourage your students to check those out!

Looking at the numbers, there were a total of 1,455 books checked out in the month of August and 213 new books were added! Congratulations to Ms. Pam Morgan's second grade class - they checked out a total of 41 books for the month of August. Ms. York's class was a close second for the month of August with a total of 39 books checked out!
On September 7th, if your Davis student has COVID-19 symptoms please do not send them to school. FREE COVID-19 Testing In Catoosa County
Dade, Catoosa, and Walker Counties are working with the Georgia Department of Public Health (GaDPH) to provide free drive through COVID-19 testing to Georgia residents at The Colonnade. Free testing is available each Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
For those without internet access, assistance with registration by telephone is available at 919-351-6256. Testing is provided by MAKO Medical with test results in two to three days by either signing up for their portal at https://mako.luminatehealth.com or by opting for notification via text message during the registration process.
