Sustainability Makes "Dollars & Cents"
Every April we celebrate "Earth Day". This commemorative day reminds us to take a moment to recognize the importance of our environment to our overall well-being and prosperity. Fortunately, advancements in scientific understanding, and policy and technology innovations from the public and private sectors have helped lead us into an age where enhancements in environmental and economic sustainability can often be achieved simultaneously.

The City of Thousand Oaks is a member of the Ventura County Green Business (VCGB) Program. The VCGB Program offers excellent resources to help your business identify and adopt sustainable business practices that contribute to improved environmental conditions, save your business money, and keep your business competitive and thriving into the future. We invite you to learn more and get certified!
