BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT

-Grades 1st - 5th -

Jefferson's Back to School Night (BTSN) for grades 1-5 is this week on Thursday, September 2nd. There will be two in-person information and presentation sessions followed by some time for Q & A for each respective session.

Sessions will follow the following schedule:

Session 1 will start at 5:30pm and will conclude at 5:55pm.
Session 2 will start at 6:00pm and conclude at 6:25pm.

In an effort to maintain health and safety, only one adult per household please sign up to attend only one session of the Back-to-School night sessions. If your child lives in two households, then we ask that one adult per each household sign-up for one session each.

All BTSN attendees will need to wear a mask while attending BTSN sessions. Additionally, all attendees need to take a passive/at-home health screening prior to attending BTSN.

For more class specific BTSN information, including session sign-ups, please look for communication from your student’s teacher. The Learning Centers will be open during BTSN for students who participate in Learning Center.

We will have elections for some of our open board positions, vote on the budget, and more...

The Jefferson PTA supports the school by offering a number of enrichment activities, family social gatherings, and volunteer opportunities that are available to all Jefferson students and families.

One way to support our school and show our children how we value their learning and bring us all is together is to join the PTA!

First Lady Dr. Jill Biden will be joining The National PTA's "Back to Class" virtual town hall LIVE on Wednesday, Sept. 1 at 10AM on the National PTA Facebook page.

Dr. Biden joins the all-star lineup of experts, including the director of the CDC, Secretary Miguel Cardona, president of the American Academy of Pediatrics and more, all moderated by NBC News' Kate Snow to give the information and resources you need to have a successful and safe school year.
