The Virginia Living Museum celebrates YOU

Thank you for supporting science education in our community! This month, the Museum celebrates 55 years of community engagement through exciting programs, exhibits, and animal welfare initiatives to connect you to nature.
Celebrate the season with your family Wednesday, November 24, and be thankful with an Attitude of Gratitude in the City of Newport News!

Drop your non-perishable food items into the Museum Canoe through November 30. This annual event for the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank supports our neighbors and food security in our community.
Experience the magic of nature on a glittering 1-mile walk through the woods! 
The whole family will delight in an evening nature walk with lights, hot cocoa, treats, and even an Otter-Claus sighting!
Shop local in the Wild Things Museum Store for unique holiday gifts - with NO shipping required.

Welcome the holidays with the Virginia Living Museum. Join us as we celebrate the season with treats and activities. And don’t forget to write out your letter to give to Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Community Vaccination Celebration!

The science says: get immunized!
In partnership with Celebrate Healthcare, LLC, the Museum welcomes community members to a vaccine clinic with Face Painting, treats, and Admission!
