Dear Friends

I wanted to offer this Lenten Meditation from the Episcopal Relief & Development. They have wonderful lent resources, I'll link them for everyone to check out! Here is the link to their website.

For Reflection

People experience God’s presence differently. Some feel God’s presence as an emotion or physical sensation, and some hear or see God’s presence in nature, another person or a work of art. How do you experience God being present to you, especially in the wilderness? Do you experience it in the moment or upon reflection months or years later?

Isaiah 41:10: "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God."

There is so much that goes into Sunday's in The Attic and one of the best ways that parents can help is by providing our meal on Sunday nights. This can be anything from a homemade meal, take-out, or catering...whatever is easiest for you! A safe number to order for is about 20-25 people.

Please take a look at the available dates and sign-up for a time that works best for you! Thank you so much for your dedication to our youth program, we couldn't do it without awesome parents like you!

All Saints' Jazz Concert Series

Who’s up next in the Jazz at All Saint’s series that is creating such a buzz? To use familiar jargon, the versatile Matt Kaminski, the popular Atlanta Braves home-game organist, and his jazz quartet will step up to the plate at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 14.

A versatile musician, Kaminski is something of a legend around town. He’s a member of numerous bands, from rock to salsa, and a recording artist who has performed with such jazz greats as Jimmy Heath, Joe Lovano, Conrad Herwig, and Dave Samuels.

In his All Saints’ appearance Kaminski will remind fans—from the ballpark to concert stages—why jazz is his first love. Previewing the concert, he says, “This is going to be the only show this year where I talk about and demonstrate what I play at Braves games. Then I will bridge the gap to how I would play some of the songs as a jazz organist with my quartet. Come SWING into the new season!”

To swing with Matt and Jazz at All Saints’, you can purchase your ticket ($25/adult, $15/student) below. And be sure to stick around after the music for a doubleheader—a lively Q&A with host Virginia Schenck (for instance, how does Kaminski think up all those riffs for batters as they come up to bat?). To wind up the evening, join him and his quartet for refreshments in the church’s parish hall.

First pitch at 7:00!
