Honorees will be announced at our Annual Meeting to be held at the Clarion Hotel & Conference Center on April 27th. (TACC Board Member businesses are exempt from nomination. Must be a Member for at least 1 year to qualify. )

Announcing New Funding Programs for Succession Planning and Existing Worker Cooperatives in MA
This year, Massachusetts Center for Employee Ownership (MassCEO) is pleased to announce expanded service offerings to support existing worker cooperatives and fund transitions to employee ownership through funding from the Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation. Learn about the new Gateway Cities Legacy Business Program and the Capital for Cooperatives Program.

FY24 Destination Development Capital (DDC) Grant Program
The Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development (EOHED) through the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism (MOTT) is committed to helping communities recover from the impact of COVID-19 and contribute to the long-term strength and sustainability of the Commonwealth. Funded at $2 million through the Capital Budget and the Tourism Trust Fund, the competitive FY24 Destination Development Capital (DDC) Grant Program, will award funds to strengthen the economy of Massachusetts through destination development projects that enhance tourism sustainability and have the potential to increase non-resident visitation.
The FY24 Destination Development Grant Program opened January 25, 2023, with applications due March 31, 2023. Applications must be submitted through MOTT's Submittable Online Application Portal. Grant awards will be announced in June, 2023.

1st Annual Cultural Gala : Black Excellence "Sneaker Ball"
The 1st Annual Cultural Gala : Celebrating Black Excellence is being hosted by the Taunton Diversity Network and T.R.U.E. Diversity. It will be held on Saturday, February 25th from 6:00 - 10:00 pm at the Clarion Hotel & Conference Center in Taunton. They will be paying homage to leaders in black history and celebrating local leaders who are truly inspirational in our community. This gala is a charity event. Learn more and register here.

Mechanics Cooperative Bank Employees Dress-Down to Raise Over $14,000 for Local Non-Profits!
The 3rd Annual “Jeans for Charity” fundraiser was another huge success in 2022! Mechanics Cooperative Bank employees that enrolled in the Jeans for Charity program were allowed to wear jeans each Friday and Saturday throughout the year with their charitable contribution made weekly, via payroll deduction. In addition, Mechanics Cooperative Bank agreed to match these employee donations totaling $14,490 raised in 2022! Read the press release.
