THE SOUL NEVER DIES

We are made in God’s image. That means we are also made as a trinity, body, soul, and spirit. The body dies and deteriorates when the spirit departs. Neither our spirit nor our soul ever dies.  

When God made Adam and breathed the spirit (human spirit) into him, man became a living soul [Genesis 2:7 and 1 Cor. 15:45]. However, our soul determines our eternal destination. God made our soul with a free will to determine whom we shall serve and to decide how to live our life. We can choose to follow God or to follow Satan, the god of this world.

Upon salvation, the now redeemed [born again] spirit is seated with Christ in heavenly places. [Ephesians 2:6.] At death of a believer, the soul joins the spirit that is already seated in Christ in heaven. [2 Corinthians 5:8.] At death of a non-believer, the unredeemed human spirit and soul are cast into hell and are tormented forever [Luke 16:24-26; Matthew 18:34-35].  

Mark 9:43-44 says, “And if thy hand offend thee [causing you to live in sin], cut if off. It is better for thee to enter into life maimed [handicapped] than having two hands to go into hell into the fire that never shall be quenched, where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.” It is by the decisions of our soul’s free will that determines how we live and unto whom we live. If our soulish choice is to live by the ways of the world, then we have chosen the broad [and easier] path that leads to hell. Mark 9:48 repeats for emphasis, “Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.”

It is your soul that makes all your decisions, so I encourage you by Psalm 118:17 to decide that you, “shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.”

It is your decision to make. Will you be rewarded at the judgment seat [Bema] of Christ for your decisions of good works following your salvation? It is there that we will either be given rewards or fail to receive a reward.

Yes, if you are saved, you are rewarded for your faithfulness in works following salvation, Ephesians 2:10, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” These good works form the basis for our rewards at Christ’s judgment seat. [Bema seat.]

Notice in Psalm 118:17 that one of our chief works is to “declare [testify of] the works of the LORD.” We must open our mouth and speak of God’s goodness to all those with whom we come into contact. That lays up treasures [rewards] in heaven for us. That is a function of our eternal undying soul.

EMMANUEL – GOD WITH US

In Matthew 1:23 it says, “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”

Emmanuel—God with us. How simple and plain that message is. Jesus, born of a virgin was and is God with us. He is the Son of God, but also God, the Son. There is no doubt in my mind that Jesus is God in the flesh. John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was the Word [Logos] and the Word [Logos] was with God, and the Word [Logos] was God.”

Then in John 1:14 it says, “And the Word [Logos] was made flesh, [human] and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

The seed of God lives in you when you receive Jesus as your Savior. 1 Peter 1:23 says, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, [human seed that dies] but of incorruptible, [never dies or decays, sinless] by the word [logos] of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” 

You see, the same incorruptible seed that lives in you, was also placed into Mary’s womb. It cannot sin. That seed is “God with us, Emmanuel.” It abides with us forever! 

Enjoy the presence of “Emmanuel” today, and every day. He is God with us—in our joy, in our sorrow, in our tests, and in our triumphs. We celebrate his birth, but His death, burial and resurrection give us our seal of victory. God loved us so much that He gave all He had to give, - Himself; Emmanuel, God with us!

PROPHETIC EXHORTATION

Just know that in order for anyone to have a genuine BREAKTHROUGH; They must FIRST have a BREAKOUT. Yes, it’s true IF you are desiring and you’ve been fervently praying for a big BREAKTHROUGH; Then you must quickly move on as you BREAKOUT and AWAY from those who are CONSTANTLY trying to MEASURE where you are GOING by WHERE you have already BEEN. Now just pause and think about that.

Good Morning and

Merry Christmas everyone.

I will be taking the rest of the week off.

Christmas is Wednesday and I am having a tooth extracted on Friday.

Next week is the New Year and my birthday. Woo Hoo!

Keep your roots of love for Jesus down deep in

The soil of your heart. Water these roots with

Love. Those roots of love will grow from you,

And in a while the flowers will bloom. They will

Bloom for him. Every color, Oh, such beauty,

You can show to others with your love gift.

Bloom, dear children of God! Let the roots

And you, cling to God’s soil of love.

And don’t be fearful, for the roots of his love

Will give you courage, that will replace your

Fears. Then of course, the love of Christ;

Yes, there is no fear now. He is all you need!
