December Newsletter
Peace & Blessings Mighty Little Giants Family and Happy December!
We hope that all is well with you and all of your families.

It's that time again for another MLG update!
Prematurity Awareness Month Recap
Mighty Little Giants was featured on www.BlackInfantsandFamilies.org The “Dear Baby…When I Love You, I Love Me” video series was created for such a purpose. "We believe in the importance of centering the real experiences of Black mothers/birthing persons.

This effort deeply connects people to the narratives that relate to our work and, rather, to the people for whom this work was created. It also allows us to share the joys as well as sit with the gravity of the birthing experience." - BlackInfantsAndFamilies.org

The following video is the fourth in the series. It was made based on the true experience of Jessica Wade, Founding President & CEO of Mighty Little Giants, B.S., CLE, Certified Doula, whose son was born early. Her voice narrates the story.

The Black Doula Program is hosting a live webinar on Black Preterm Birth. We had such an amazing conversation around premature birth with the Black Doula Consortium on November 30th.

The recording will be shared on the Black Child Legacy Campaign YouTube Channel and @RAACDSac, @Blackwpfresno and @frontlinedoulas Twitter pages!
