The inauguration of Claflin University’s ninth president, Dr. Dwaun J. Warmack, will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021, at 10 a.m. This event will be broadcast live on Claflin University’s Facebook page. Due to the COVID-19, attendance to this historic ceremony is invitation only.

Tickets on Sale for Concert Only Featuring SWV on November 19

Tickets are now on sale for $50 for those who wish to enjoy the concert portion of the Presidential Scholarship Gala. Doors for this concert only event will open at 8:30 p.m. and the concert featuring SWV will begin at 9 p.m. This general admission ticket provides seating in the bleacher sections of the Tullis Arena of the Jonas T. Kennedy Health and Wellness Complex. The ticket does not include access to the floor or a plated meal.

The University will still exercise COVID-19 safety protocols (the wearing of a face covering and proof of full vaccination).

Location of Homecoming Concert on November 18 Changed to Tullis Arena at Claflin University

The location for the Homecoming Concert featuring Big Latto has been changed to the Jonas T. Kennedy Health and Wellness Complex (Tullis Arena) on the campus of Claflin University. Tickets will remain on sale through the day of the concert.

DJ Envy of The Breakfast Club will be the featured entertainer at Claflin University’s Homecoming Alumni Social on Friday, November 19, at 9 p.m. at The Cinema in Orangeburg.
