WISDOM

Hosea 14:9 says, “Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? Prudent, and he shall know them? For the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them, but the transgressors shall fall therein.”

Wisdom, understanding, and prudence [wise choices] are imputed to those who walk [live, act, talk] in the ways of the Lord. Those who do not live [walk] in the ways of the Lord are headed for trouble.

Psalm 91 and many other scriptures let us know that the Lord is our benefactor, our shield, and our shelter. His angels encamp around us to guard us from the fiery attacks of Satan’s demon forces. It is wisdom to draw close and to live close to Jesus. With wisdom comes understanding of God’s way and His will for us.

It is dangerous and risky to think that we can live life daily by figuring out everything on our own without consulting God’s word or the Holy Spirit.

Romans 8:1b tells us to “walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” Romans 8:8 says, “So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God…” vs 7a says, “because the carnal [flesh oriented] mind is enmity against God…”

Let the word of God and the Holy Spirit be your guide as to how you life your life from day to day. Figuring things out your own way can lead to mistakes or to trouble. Always be mindful of the Lord. Follow the thoughts of your mind that the Holy Spirit puts there. That is wisdom in practice.

LIGHTEN THE LOAD

In Acts chapter 27, while the Apostle Paul was on board a ship and was being taken as a prisoner to Rome, they ran into a storm like a hurricane. He warned the Centurion in charge of the prisoners that this storm would bring damage to the ship, but the Centurion believed the master of the ship instead.

After being tossed about in the sea, in fear of losing their lives, they lightened the load by throwing the freight overboard. Paul reminded them what he had told them previously, but also told them that an angel of God had appeared to him and told him the ship would be destroyed but there would be no loss of life. 

The storm continued, and eventually the ship was destroyed, as he said, and there was no loss of life. Lightening the load gave them a chance to get to a safer place before the ship was destroyed. They then were able to get to the shore with no lives lost.

There are times in our lives that we must do the same. We must let go of some things that might have seemed good for a while, but now they are “weighing us down.” By releasing these things, whether they be good works, an unhealthy relationship, a job, or anything else that is causing a “storm” in our lives, we will get to safe harbor.

Often, we do not want to let go, just like the master of that ship. He did not want to lose the freight on board, but it was necessary to save the lives of those on board.  

What is in your life that you need to let go of? Have you taken on a burden that is not yours to bear? I can attest through years of experience, that your life will be a lot better when you give that burden to God.  

Why am I writing this? Someone is in this position and needs to hear this message and needs to do it now before your ship sinks!

I hear my Father God saying…”My children, My precious children I am calling out to you in this hour; And I tell you to seek My face more intently than most of you as a generation have ever known or done. I ask you, are you not feeling a shifting in the atmosphere around you? Can you not sense the deep wooing of My Spirit asking you to pull away from those things and the people that you once felt so close to and so comfortable with? Yes, I see that a few of you have begun to experience a real knowing in your spirit and in your mind. It’s in this deep knowing that you’ll begin to feel a separation from what once seemed so normal to you. Just know the time has now come for you to experience a time of deeper cleansing and purification of your spirit, your soul and your body. Yes, My child you are now seeing a new realization that things are definitely changing in the natural realm and in the spiritual realm around you. Just look and you’ll see the gross deception that’s blinding the eyes of key players in the political arena; And in the church world around you in this your once great nation. Yes, I know and I see that some of you are becoming deeply concerned at the gross error that’s trying to bring division among you My body of believers in the earth today. Oh, but it’s evident that things are rapidly dividing families, friends, churches and races. Can you not see how it’s all weakening My end time army of believers? Yes, it is affecting those of you who should be gearing up to fight the deceptive and divisive spirit that’s now attacking good innocent people of your country and My Church. Yes, these attacks are coming onto those who once had a keen discernment of how the evil one was operating and moving through you My body of believers and the world in general. Do you not see how this is happening here in this great nation that you have called home and that’s been a safe haven for many who have sojourned here? Can you not see how your very peace is being challenged and your safety is rapidly becoming threatened in this great nation where many have found refuge? Yes, My people you are on the brink of losing everything that made your nation what it is today. This is happening because the very thing that held your great nation above other countries of the world is now being ripped out and away from you My people. It’s things like your basic freedom and your democratic government. Oh, but the big one is your choice to openly and to freely worship Me…The One True God who made it all. Yes, My Name is now being attacked like never before and some of you My children are not even aware of what’s happening at the very core of it all. So I say to you…Arise My people and shake yourselves; Seek My face and cry out to Me. There’s only a small remnant of you who call Me Lord who can actually see the seriousness of the hour; That is quickly but so underhandedly sweeping throughout this your land. I ask those of who have an ear to hear to begin to cry out to Me, first in repentance and then in desperation for right decisions to be made that will directly effect you My body and your work for Me in this your great homeland. Do not bury your heads in the sand of time any longer and think this will just go away. No for it’s only through your deep consecration and crying out to Me will there be a true turnaround for you My church and this entire nation. Just look around you and you’ll see that time is running out. So seek My face and call out to Me in this hour that’s now coming on the scene that so many of you thought you’d never live to see. Seek My face, turn to Me and trust Me while you have the chance.”

We have all heard the song “The 12 Days of Christmas”. But did you know the story behind the song? It was birthed from the Christian faith. In the sixteenth century England forbade religious teaching unless by their official state church.

It begins with “my true love” being God.

1st day of Christmas is a partridge and the original gift from God was Jesus. The pear tree represents the cross.

2nd day two turtle doves is a reminder of the sacrifice offered for Jesus by Mary and Joseph.

3rd day: three French hens. They symbolized the gifts brought to the Christ child by the three wisemen. Gold Frankincense and Myrrh.

4th day: four calling birds were reminders of the first four books of the New Testament Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

5th day:5 golden rings were for the first 5 books of the Old Testament. Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy.

6th day: 6 geese a laying: the 6 days it took to create the earth. 

7th day: 7 swans a-swimming represented the 7 gifts of the Holy Spirit. Prophesying, Faith, serving, teaching, encouraging, give generously, leadership and mercy.

8th day: 8 maids a milking represented 8 unique teaching by Jesus. The beatitudes.

9th day-nine ladies dancing. The fruits of the Holy Spirit. Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, gentleness, and Self control.

10th day- 10 Lords a leaping represented the Ten Commandments.

11th day: 11 pipers piping were the 11 apostles chosen by Jesus.

12th day: 12 drummers drumming represented twelve vital Christian beliefs of the Apostle Creed.



I have seen another variation of this on the internet but both are basically the same.
