Concepts in Neonatal and Pediatric Transport Conference

This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™, ANCC credit, and Respiratory Care Credit

Wednesday-Friday, February 19-21; Radisson Hotel Downtown Salt Lake (Virtual option available)

The transport of a critically ill neonate or child poses unique challenges and risks to both patient and provider. Patients are subject to risk from infectious diseases, injuries, adverse responses, and complications as a result of treatment or simply due to the transport itself. Providers, too, can find themselves challenged and affected by the transport environment emotionally, physically, and/or mentally. This two-day course will provide thoughtful analysis and evidence-based management of many patient- and provider-related facets of neonatal and pediatric transport. Early bird pricing ends December 14. Visit the conference website to register, get pricing info, view the agenda, and more.

What Patients are Saying

Patient comments are submitted via the Qualtrics after-visit survey.

Justin Alvey, MD - Complex Care

"Dr. Alvey is the best doctor ever."

Josh Bonkowsky, MD - Neurology

"Dr. Bonkowski [sic] was professional but fun with our little guy. He is very approachable and friendly."

Sara Dryden, MD (Fellow) - Hematology/Oncology

"Dr. Dryden was AMAZING to work with and was so caring to our twins who were very anxious and nervous from lab draws. She let them listen to their hearts and eased them into the exam without tears. She also continually checked on us and offered them snacks and water. We had a long morning there so her doing so was very kind and did not go unnoticed."

Christine Jackson, NP - Endocrinology

"Dr. Jackson is a knowledgeable, caring and kind doctor. [My son] doesn't mind going to the doctors anymore like he used to. He is no longer afraid. Thank you for helping my son!"

Lloyd Tani, MD / Care Team - Cardiology

"Dr. Tani and the nurse's assistant were absolutely warm and helpful and clear. The nurse's assistant even took time to let me know how I could help my daughter pursue her dreams of becoming a nurse or doctor. Not just passing information, but truly helpful details! Dr. Tani kindly answered my daughter's questions and happily encouraged her dreams. Dr. Tani and the assistant nurse nurtured my daughter's heart both physically and emotionally. :)"

Justin Wheeler, MD - Gastroenterology

"Dr. Wheeler is super knowledgeable and he took time to listen to our concerns. He did a great job of talking with our teenage daughter and explained things well."
