Soft Skills Youth Summit Provides Mission-Oriented Sponsor Opportunity
In partnership with Volusia County Schools, the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Soft Skills Youth Summit. Soft skills have been noted as a need by many business leaders across a wide variety of industry categories. Sponsorships are available to help provide this critical program. See more below in Workforce & Education.

Select Sponsorships Remain for Sold-Out Business Links Golf Tournament
Once again this year, the Business Links Golf Tournament presented by Brown & Brown is a sell-out. However, there are numerous ways your business can leverage the exposure provided by the high-profile, high-demand event. Cart, Hole, and Tee Sign Sponsorships are still available with more information available under Organizational Excellence & Fiscal Growth.
Daytona Regional Chamber Member Tip
Create Synergy through Networking
Networking should be a key growth strategy for your business, whether it's your connections that need to be strengthened or one of your employees who needs to build their professional network.

But it is more than just finding leads for new business. Often times giving a lead can build a stronger bond than receiving one. It shows you have invested the time in a conversation to uncover a pain point for someone and taken it a step further to help solve it.

You'll find the return on this investment in others will be many times over what is generated by receiving a single lead. Looking for an opportunity to help others and in turn help yourself? Check out our September Business After Hours below. Registration is open.
Help Develop the Future Workforce at Soft Skills Youth Summit
Addressing a need identified throughout the region and across industry sectors, the Daytona Regional Chamber is partnering with Volusia County Schools, with support from CareerSource Flagler Volusia, to hold a Soft Skills Youth Summit on Wednesday, October 6 from 9:00 a.m. until approximately 12:30 p.m. at Speedway Indoor Karting.

Approximately 100 high school juniors and seniors will take part in this interactive program with business leaders sharing their expertise on the requirements of a professional workplace.

We need sponsor support as well as business professionals willing to share their expertise on the expectations with the workplace on topics such as attire, etiquette, work ethic, punctuality, and more.

If you would like to sponsor this important workforce development event or volunteer to share your expertise with these future members of the local talent base, please contact Ken Phelps, Vice President of Resource Development here or by clicking the button below.
