Book Discussion of Maus I

Join us for a discussion of Maus I: A Survivor’s Tale: My Father Bleeds History. Maus I is a nonfiction book presented in the graphic novel style, written by American cartoonist Art Spiegelman. It recounts the chilling experiences of the author’s father during the Holocaust. Maus is a haunting tale; weaving the author’s account of his tortured relationship with his aging father into an astonishing retelling of one of history’s most unspeakable tragedies. Copies of the book are available at the Mastic Recreation Center.
