Community News
Community Pool: We have had a great pool season. As Summer comes to an end, we welcome cooler temperatures and say good bye to pool season. The pool will be closed for the season beginning on Monday, October4th. That means you still have plenty of time to get your fun in before we start holiday shopping!

Community Standards:
The Association has standards in place to protect and maintain the property values in the community. The management company is tasked with enforcing these standards in the community. If you see me driving slow and taking pictures in the community, I am conducting a community standards inspection. Please say “Hi” or wave me down. I am always happy to speak with homeowners and answer your questions. If you receive a letter via email or USPS mail and have questions, please reach out to me. I am here to help you!
The most common infractions are:

  • Trash/Recycle receptacles must be shielded from view from any street, alley, or adjacent lot when not out for collection on Friday.
  • Parking commercial or recreational vehicles, boats, and trailers on the property violates the covenant. If you have a temporary circumstance, please reach out to me to discuss the situation further.
  • All turf, including along the alley, should be mowed, edged and relatively free of weeds. Flower beds and tree rings should also be free of grass and weeds.
  • Mulch is required in tree rings and flower beds. Rocks, gravel, or other materials are not permitted.

Architectural Review:
We have had a steady stream of Architectural Review applications come in this year. Please remember to submit the supporting documentation for your project with your application to avoid delays in approval. The Committee has up to 30 days to review once a completed application is received. If you have questions or need help, please reach out.

Accounting Updates
The conversion of Prairie View's old enterprise system to Village Management Software, VMS, has been completed. What does this mean for homeowners? VMS offers a user-friendly homeowner portal that will allow you to access your account balances, transaction history and directly update your contact information. VMS also provides enhanced reporting and integration capabilities.
October's assessments will be mailed out starting this month. Please be on the lookout for your statement and notate your new account number as well as the new remit to address listed. You will also receive your account login and temporary password with this statement. Once you have logged in with your new account, you will be able to set your own password. Your previous account number and any checks that have been mailed to the previous remit to address will still be associated with your account. Starting with January's assessments, we ask that you start using your new account number and the new remit to address moving forward.
For residents that use direct debit for their payments, you may need to set up a new direct debit with your new account information. As a reminder late fees will not be applied until the 30th of October. Once we have received additional information regarding the transferring of direct debits, we will send an update on this to the community.
We appreciate your cooperation in advance to help expedite your payment processing.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please let me know, and I will be happy to help!

Sincerely,
Jamie Patterson
