Student Government Elections

SGA Special Election Announcement


As of October 14, the previous Executive Board members of the Student Government Association have transitioned out of their roles. Per their Constitution, the current Speaker of the Senate is next in the line of succession. This individual will assume the responsibilities of the Executive Board until the new Executive Board is named.


A special election will be held to elect new members to the Executive Board. The available positions are President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. If you're interested in becoming a member of the board, please note that you must select three other students as running mates to fulfill each of the open positions.


All students interested in becoming Executive Board members must complete the appropriate application listed below. The deadline to submit your application and campaign materials is November 4. Please review the special election timeline details here.

Get transported back to the 1800's for a night of gambling as CAB transforms the Student Center into a Regency Era casino.


Upon check-in, event attendees will be given tickets to gamble at our blackjack, Texas Hold'em, and roulette tables, as well as money wheels and dice games. Tickets can be used to enter a raffle. Prizes include, but are not limited to, an iPad and Browns' tickets. Winners will be announced via Instagram Live the following week.


All event attendees will also receive a voucher for free dinner and dessert at Viking Marketplace. Other activities include croquet, sitting for your very own silhouette cutting, and enjoying live music by a 19th-century style orchestra.


Want to bring your friends? CSU students can bring up to two guests that do not attend CSU. Guests are $5 per person. Guests do not need to be 21 to enter.
