School Showcases

The Communication and Community Relations School Board Committee is excited to continue with School Showcases this year for our Board! During four workshops throughout the year, schools will come to showcase students and their work and to our Board through interactive presentations. The format is round-robin style, so the Board is able to visit each school “station” for 15 minutes, and then rotate.

All of our schools will be showcased throughout the course of the year! On October 18, we kicked off School Showcases with presentations from Dottke and Shared Journeys.

Cardboard Carnival

This fall, three classes of 5th grade students at Hoover Elementary worked on a design challenge to create cardboard carnival games. At the end of the design project, all students and staff got to play the games the 5th graders created.

Thank you to Grade 5-Team Horizon- Amanda Timm, Liz Gold, and Sam Lewis for helping us capture this process!
